A representative of the Bishkek State University named after K. Karasaev took calligraphy part in an international workshop held from June 29 to July 2, 2026, in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia). The event was dedicated to the use of research data in educational policy formulation and planning.
The participation of representatives from the Kyrgyz Republic was organized within the framework of the Knowledge and Innovation Exchange program of the Global Partnership for Education (GPE KIX). The delegation included: Ch.M. Omurkulova from the Quality, Practice, and Career Department of K. Karasaev BSU; B.S. Shamshidinova and R.J. Madanbekova from the Department for Quality Development of Education under the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The seminar served as the concluding event of two global learning cycles within the GPE KIX program and brought together representatives of 38 organizations from 25 GPE partner countries, including state education authorities, higher education institutions, and international organizations. During the program, participants discussed issues of improving quality and equity in education, data visualization, preparation of policy briefs, and the integration of research findings into education management practices.
The participation of K. Karasaev BSU in international initiatives of this level contributes to the expansion of professional interaction, strengthening the university's expert capacity, and developing an evidence-based approach in strategic planning and education quality assurance.
