Council of Young Scientists (CYS)
The Council of Young Scientists (CYS) is a permanently operating, voluntary, collegial advisory body. The activities of the CYS are carried out in strict accordance with the University Charter and based on the regulatory and legal documents governing the University. The CYS is not a legal entity and operates under the Regulations on the Council of Young Scientists approved by the university.

Goals of the Council of Young Scientists
- Assisting young scientists in advancing their professional standards;
- Developing the scientific potential of young scientists and enabling the realization of their creative capabilities;
- Providing protection and representation for the professional and intellectual interests and rights of young researchers within the University;
- Promoting scientific knowledge and the latest achievements in science.
Core Objectives of the CYS
- Information Dissemination: Providing updates on scientific projects and programs, research funding foundations (grants) that support young scientists, domestic and foreign scientific/educational centers, as well as specialized events (conferences, seminars) held in the Kyrgyz Republic, neighboring countries, and far abroad;
- Database Management: Developing an informational database of research and development projects conducted by the young scientists of the scientific organization and higher education institution;
- Resource Support: Supplying young researchers with necessary information regarding job vacancies, foundations, grants, conferences, academic schools, and other initiatives aimed at supporting scientific youth;
- Professional Advancement: Fostering the professional growth of the University's young researchers, developing youth scientific initiatives, retaining young academic staff at the University, and drafting proposals to improve research work within the institution;
- Activity Support: Assisting in securing organizational and financial support for the scientific activities of young scientists, as well as facilitating their participation in research projects, programs, scientific internships, competitions, conferences, and seminars;
- Event Management: Organizing and supporting scientific conferences, seminars, roundtables, and competitions for the best scientific output, and assisting young scientists in publishing their articles and reports;
- Methodological Aid: Hosting events designed to help young scientists master the methodology and techniques of R&D, while promoting their scientific and cultural growth;
- Welfare Recommendations: Submitting recommendations and proposals to the university administration (Rector's Office) regarding the working conditions, daily life, and leisure of young scientists;
- Social Problem Solving: Supporting initiatives of young scientists directed towards addressing their social and welfare issues.
Main Fields of Activity
- Propose initiatives and submit recommendations on various issues of scientific and community life to the Rector’s Office and the Academic Council;
- Represent and protect the rights and legitimate interests of the University's young researchers;
- Organize scientific conferences, seminars, research paper competitions, meetings for young scientists, and lecture series delivered by leading scholars from foreign scientific and educational centers;
- Collaborate with innovation and implementation centers, other interested organizations, and foundations that run or financially support (via grants) research projects and programs;
- Represent the interests of young scientists in administrative, scientific, public, and other organizations;
- Participate in national and international projects and programs;
- Facilitate the active involvement of the University's undergraduate and Master's students in research and development activities.
